Mike was a principal of MM Controls from 1999
through 2002. We split the company and he formed MDS Realtime
Software Inc. in the spring of 2002 because of a slight disagreement
about what to do when the economy crashed and we weren't getting any
work - he wanted to keep trying, and I wanted to spend the next six
months sailing my boat. I think I ended up having more fun than him,
but you can never be sure!
As of the summer of 2003, he is out of the market (he ended up
taking one of those kind of jobs that has a steady paycheck,
healthcare, and other benefits), but contact him anyway - I'm sure
he'd love to hear from you.

IAC are kind of competitors, at least in the
PLC/HMI aspect of my business, but they concentrate on work in the
Great Basin and Rocky Mountain areas. They are a great group of guys
and their quarterly newsletter is both informative and hilarious.
